Obituary of Oscar Dickerson

Oscar Dickerson, 77, Retired Farmer, Dies On Fresno Route 2
Oscar Dickerson, 77, retired farmer, died Friday at 10:30 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles O. Darr, Fresno Route 2, following a short illness.
He was born Dec. 15, 1872, in Washington township, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Dickerson. On April 27, 1906, he was married to the former Emma Bailey who died in 1937.
Surviving besides the daughter are three sons, Lester Dickerson of the U.S. Army, Wilbur Dickerson of Fresno Route 2, and Clarence Dickerson of Route 4, two sisters, Mrs. Nora Fortune and Mrs. Quincy Bailey, both of Coshocton; one brother, Ed Dickerson of Roscoe. One daughter, one son, two sisters and one brother are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Prairie Chapel church, Rev. Chapman will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the home of the daughter from noon Monday.
