Obituary of Adam Bible

Adam Bible, Farmer Near Adams Mills, Dies Early Tuesday

Adam Bible, 73, a farmer on Conesville Route 1, Near Adams Mills, died at city hospital at 1:30 a.m. today from heart disease. He had been ill for three weeks and critically ill for the past four days.

Mr. Bible was born in Jackson township Oct. 8, 1870, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Bible. On Oct. 6, 1916, he was married to Bertha Jennings, who died Oct. 17, 1928. He was a Spanish-American war veteran.

Surviving are six children, Mrs. Cecil Wright of Conesville Route 1, Mrs. Robert Green, Cleveland, Mrs. Rhoda Dickerson of Zanesville, Glenn Bible of the U.S. Army at Ft. Worth, Tex., Dwight Bible of Coshocton Route 3; six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Polly Lowery of Columbus; two brothers, Edward Bible of Cambridge and Charles Bible of Roscoe. Two sons and one daughter are deceased.

Funeral services will be hald at the Dawson funeral home Thursday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Forrest Hall of Conesville officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
