Beach Company

In 1889 Jasper Meek, a former newspaper publisher joined with Henry Daniel Beach, the owner of Standard Advertising Company to form the Meek and Beach Company. Meek bought Beach's interest in the company. A few years later Meek sold to the American Art Works. In 1901, Beach organized the H.D. Beach Company and formed Beach Enamel. The company manufactured enameled trays and lithographed signs, rulers, fly swatters and paint mixers. In 1952 they purchased the Guy S. Meek Calendar Company. Today, the Beach Company prints commercial wall calendars, desk pads and desk calendars.
