William Morrison Will written 1897
This will came with an Application to Probate Will (1 page) and a Copy of Will and Orders of Court (2 pages).
This William Morrison was a resident of Oxford Township, and died 2 October 1897.
His widow was Rachel Morrison, and there was a sister from Gilbert, Ohio named Jane Morrison.


In the name of the Benevolent Father of all I William Morrison of Coshocton County Ohio do make and publish this my last will and testament.
1st Item. It is my will that after my decease all my just debts be first fully paid including sickness and funeral expenses.
2nd Item. I will and Devise to Mrs. [Kinarda ?] Wilson the house and Lot I own in the Town of West Lafayette and being the Lot I bought of one Robert Kirk.
3rd Item. I will and Devise to my beloved wife Rachel Morrison all the rest and residue of my property both real and personal [three words unable to read] to sell and dispose of as she may wish absolutely.
4th Item. I hereby name and nominate Elmer T. Wilson as Executor of this my last will and testament with full power to Settle my debts and collect my outstanding claims of all kind and I do not require him to give any bond as such Executor and request the Probate Judge to allow him to act as such Executor without requiring him to enter into a bond and I further direct that he employ J. M. Compton as his attorney if one is needed to assist him in settleing [sic] my estate.
In testimony hereof I here unto set my hand and seal this 22nd day of September A.D. 1897.
