Wolford homestead


This is how the old Wolford homestead looked back in the turn of the century-in 1901. Members of the family posing for this picture 76 years ago are relatives of Earl Adams, 725 South Lawn Ave., a former employee of the Tribune. Pictured in the front row, left to right, are Ethel (Shaw) Wolford. George Wolford, Mary Jane (Wright) Wolford, Mary (Babcock) Wolford and Wilbur Wolford, holding Lorena (Wilson) Wolford; second row, Deborah Wolford, Harvey Wolford, Pearly W. (Cunningham) Wolford, Rosa P. (Cunningham) Wolford, Emma (Johnson) Wolford, Etta L. (Fortune) Adams, Joseph Howard Wolford, Ray and Ben Fortune, the latter two native of Roscoe.
