Guinther, William - From The Coshocton Morning Tribune 12 January 1916(Wednesday) - Pneumonia Kills Child-William, the seven months old son, of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Guinther, 411 North Third Street, died at their home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon following a short illness from pneumonia. A complicated feature in connection with the baby's death is the fact that the mother is suffering from small pox and the home was placed under quarantine Wednesday morning. A rumor which gained circulation Wednesday afternoon that undertakers had refused to attend to the baby's body, however it is untrue. The first undertaker whose services were sought readily consented to go and was at the house preparing the body for burial a half hour after death. It is also untrue that Mr. Guinther is left alone in the house to care for his wife as Mrs. Guinther's mother, Mrs. Donley is there and her brother and his family, who live in half the house and have also been quarantined, have been assisting in the care of both the mother and baby. The funeral will be a private one at 1:30 o'clock today and burial will be made in South Lawn cemetery. In addition to the parents, a twin sister of the baby survives. - Submitted by:Kelly ImKellybar@aol.com

A sad feature in connection with the case is that the twin brother of the child died about three months ago from small pox. The father and mother are now left alone. Before her marriage, Mrs. Guinther was Miss Bessie Donley. - Submitted by:Kelly ImKellybar@aol.com

Guenther, Mrs. Camilla From The Coshocton Morning Tribune - 2 March 1911 (Thursday) Death Angel Summons Mrs. Camilla Guenther - Death ended weeks of suffering for Mrs. Camilla Kimberly Guenther Wednesday when she passed peacefully away at her home on Bridge street at 8:45 o'clock. Mrs. Guenther had been in ill health for several months, but the day after Christmas, December 26, 1910 she was taken very seriously ill and had not been able since to leave her bed. Through out the weeks of illness she suffered almost constantly, but bore the suffering with admirable fortitude and a courage that was pathetic in the face of the fact that physicians despaired of her recovery from the first. For the past two weeks she had been in critical condition; three days ago she lapsed into unconsciousness and gradually grew weaker until the end came yesterday morning. Mrs Guenther was 27 years of age and her entire life had been spent in Coshocton County. She was a member of the Methodist Protestant church and was possessed of a steadfast faith that sustained her and kept her through her weeks of suffering, and leaves a blessed memory of her life with all who knew her. In addition to her husband, J. H. Guenther, and little eight year old daughter, Ethel, Mrs Guenther is survived by her father and mother Mr and Mrs. Abraham Kimberly of Bridge street, four sisters, Mrs Elmer Hosfelt, Mrs. John Balch, Elsie and Mabel Kimberly, all of this city. Funeral services will be from the late home on Bridge St. Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock the Rev. C. C. Irwin in charge. Internment will take place in Oak Ridge cemetery. - Submitted by:Kelly ImKellybar@aol.com
