Factor, Bertha - From the Times Recorder, Zanesville Ohio December 10 1929 (Tuesday)- Mrs. Bertha Factor Is Taken By Death Mrs. Bertha Wirick Factor, aged 30 years, wife of Russell Factor of 1136 Greenwood Avenue, died at 5:10 o'clock Monday afternoon in Bethesda Hospital after a brief illness, following an operation. Mrs. Factor was well known in this city. Her husband is the proprietor of a gas station on Frazeysburg road. Surviving besides the husband are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wirick of Dietz Lane, five sisters, Mrs. Audrey Escover, Dietz Lane, Mrs. Otis Dick, city, Mrs. Mary Blocksom of Irrville. Factor, Miss Isabel - From the Coshocton Tribune 21 May 1923 Monday- Coshocton Woman to Be Brought Here Miss Isabel Factor Aged about 46, of Columbus, niece of Thomas and Joseph Guenther, of west Walnut Street, and a cousin of Mrs. Arza Moore, south Ninth Street, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Hugh Gillespie in Columbus Sunday morning at 5:45 o'clock. Her death was due to paralysis. She suffered two strokes. Miss Factor was formerly of Coshocton, having moved from here to Zanesville years ago. For several years she has made her home with her sister in Columbus.The funeral services will be held in Columbus Wednesday morning at 7:30 o'clock, after which the body will be brought in Coshocton for burial on the passenger train which arrives here at 11:55am. Factor of Wilmer Street, Russell P., of Market Street, Richard D., of Columbus, and Robert C., of Forest Avenue, and a daughter Mrs. Harold Heim 1264 Wheeling avenue. The body will be removed from the Maders-Peoples funeral home to the Heim residence late this afternoon. She was well known in this city and for several years was active in auxiliary work for St. James Episcopal church. Factor, Samuel - From the Zanesville Signal May 4 1944(Thursday) - Funeral Saturday for Samuel Factor Funeral services for Samuel B. Factor, 85 of 1110 Greenwood Avenue, who died Wednesday afternoon at his home, will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at the St. Nicholas Catholic church. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Although he had been in ill health several months, Mr. Factor died suddenly as the result of a heart attack. He was born in Coshocton County, but had resided in Zanesville for the past 55 years. On April 21, 1887, he was married to Miss Lillie B. Cooper, who died July 9th 1938. A retired carriage painter, Mr. Factor was a member of the Musicians union and one of the few surviving members of the old Beaver band, he was also a member of the Old Seventh Regiment Zanesville Memorial and Armco bands. Mr. Factor was identified with the St. Nicholas Catholic church. Surviving are one daughter, Mr. Harold Heim of the home: six sons, Weldon E, Lorance J. Russell P and Robert C. Factor all of Zanesville: Ralph G., of Lorain, and Richard D. Factor, Jerry Paul - From the Sunday Times Recorder January 10 1960(Sunday) -Ridge Road Man Killed In Crash Near Linnville Car Hits Railing On New Road - Jerry Paul Factor, 29, of Ridge road, was fatally injured Saturday night in a one-car crash on new route 40, five miles east of the Jacksonville interchange. State Highway Patrolmen, who investigated, said Factor's eastbound car left the highway on the right side, tore down 45 feet of guardrail and plunged down a 20 foot embankment. The crash occurred south of Linnville. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Newark City Hospital, where he was taken in a Buckeye Lake Emergency squad car. The Patrol reported it believed Factor, who was alone, fell asleep at the wheel of his 1950 Cadillac automobile. He was a former employee of the engraving department of the Times Recorder, and was employed as a tank truck driver for the Gulf Refining Company He was a member of the St. James Episcopal church and was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was the son of Mrs. Gertrude Factor, of Sevall Street and the late Russell Factor. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his widow, the former Rita James; two sons, Jerry Paul Jr. and Terry, a brother, Bill Factor of Sevall street and a half brother, Dale Campbell, of Ridge road. Factor, Ralph - From the Zanesville Signal, Zanesville Ohio December 26, 1952 (Friday) - Funeral Monday for Ralph Factor Funeral services for Ralph George Factor, 62, of 1832 East 31st. street, Lorain, a native of this city, will be held Monday afternoon at the Forest avenue chapel of Mader-Peoples funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood. The hour for services will be set later. Mr. Factor died at 4:50 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Lorain hospital following a thirty month illness of a heart condition He had been a patient in the hospital about three weeks He was born in Zanesville on April 4, 1880, a son of Samuel and Lillie Cooper Factor. He moved to Lorain about ten years ago and was employed at the National Tube Company. Surviving is his widow, the former Verna D. Morgan, four daughters Mrs. Mary Louise Pape, of Kent Ohio, Mrs. Sarah J. Harsh, of 2089 Norwood Boulevard, Mrs. Dorothy Baldie of Hieleah, Fla. and Miss Janis Factor of the home, a sister, Mrs. Harold Heim of 312 Hamline avenue, and four brothers, Weldon E of Route 4, Lawrence J of Route 2, Richard D of Washington DC. And Robert C. Factor of 958 Forest avenue and two grandsons, Dev and Doug Harsh of Norwood Boulevard. Saturday, O—Hospice Morrison House at Zanesville after an extended illness He was born April 3, 1927 in Zanesville. He was a retired truck driver for Cook International Veteran of World War II, a life member of American Legion Post 71 of Roseville a member former stock car driver at Six Mile Turn He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Peggy Allen Factor of the home; daughters Penny and Treshia Factor of South Zanesville; sons Danny (Norma) Factor of Roseville, Scott (Debbie) and Mark factor of Roseville; brother James (Dorothy) Factor of Zanesville; 10 grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Hazel Ervin Factor and brother Fred Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004 at the Goebel Funeral Home funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. FORNEY, two children of Jacob - The Coshocton Age Friday Feb 21, 1868 - The Tuscarawas Chronicle of last week says: ?A few days ago two children of Jacob Forney of Oldtown, were taken suddenly ill and died within a few hours of each other.
