Mrs. Elihu Darr, 54, Dies Early Sunday at Home Near Warsaw
Mrs. Elihu Darr, 54, Warsaw route, died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday in her home of
complications. She had been in failing health for the past three months.
Lillian Dell Ashcraft was born Jan. 14, 1893, in Pike township, Coshocton
county, a daughter of Simon and Sadie Dickerson Aschraft. On Sept. 1, 1910, she
married Elihu Darr, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward Fender, Warsaw, and Mrs. Donald
Starts, Richmond, Calif.,; one son, Burt Darr, of the home; one brother,
Clarence Ashcraft, and one sister, Mrs. Everett Foster, both of Coshocton route.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Darr residence, Bedford
township, Coshocton county, with Rev. Donald E. Syler officiating. Burial will
be in Valley View cemetery, Warsaw.
