Obituary of Joseph Darr

Joseph Darr

Joseph P. Darr, Coshocton Route 1, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital, following an eight-month illness. He was a retired farmer of the New Bedford Twp. vicinity.

He was born July 2, 1893 in Coshocton County, a son of French and Prudence Darr. On March 31, 1921, he was married to the former Ethel Mullett, who died June 2, 1962. Mr. Darr was a member of the Coshocton County Sportman’s Association.

Surviving are five sons, Forrest and Dennis, both of Coshocton; Clarence, of West Lafayette; Adrian, of Coshocton Route 1, and Donis, of Sacramento, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Lewis (Leota) Ostler, Coshocton; one brother, Frank, of Wyoming; and 21 grandchildren. One grandson, eight brothers and two sisters are deceased.

Arrangements at the Dawson Funeral Home are pending word from the son living in California.
