Obituary of French W. Darr

French W. Darr Dies at Home of Son Early Today
French W. Darr, 69, died at 2:25 this morning at the home of his son, Ernest Darr, 211 Walnut st., following a short illness with blood poisoning. Mr. Darr had been in ill health with nervous trouble for the past two years but was taken seriously ill Sunday.
French Darr was born September 2, 1858 in Jackson tp. and lived in that vicinity until two years ago when he came to the city to make his home with his son, Ernest. He followed the occupation of farming during his entire life. Mr. Darr was married twice, the second time to Prudence Randles in 1882. To this union 11 children were born, ten of whom are living, one having died in infancy.
Besides his widow, he is survived by two brothers, Perry Darr and Elihu Darr, both of Roscoe, one sister, Mrs. John Stipes, Coshocton, and the following children: John, Holmesville; Elihu, Enoch and Joseph, Tunnel Hill; Charles, Muskingum co.; Lonzo and Ernest, Coshocton; Russell, Pueblo, Colo.; and Frank and Mrs. Harry McCluggage, of near Canal Lewisville. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at one o'clock Saturday afternoon at the late home, 211 Walnut st, in charge of Rev. A. H. Perry. Burial will be made in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
