COSHOCTON MAN IS GIVEN FREEDOM
Paul Cagot, Cashocton, was released from the Licking county jail recently by means of proceedings instituted in U.S. Commissioner F.F. Frazir's office here.
He secured his release under the poor convict statute. Seized and convicted in Franklin county on a liquor conspiracy Cagot was
sentenced to six months and to pay a fine of $500, servitude to be in the Licking county jail. On his application for hearing Cagot was brought here and released on his representations of being a poor convict unable to settle his fine of $500.
