State Recognition October 1941

Members of the Coshocton commandery, Knight's Tenplar, who have attainted state recognition had active part in the grand conclave held this past week in Columbus. In this group are Weldon Barr, deputy grand commander for the 10th division: Fred Vensel, assistant deputy for the 10th division; Riley Patterson, staff of the grand captain general, and Russell Moore, captain general of Coshocton commandery, who had charge of the military arrangement. Harry S. Lybarger is commander of the Coshocton commandery.

The grand conclave opened with a banquet for 800 knights and ladies in the Masonic temple Tuesday evening and the grand parade was on Wednesday when 5,000 knights were reviewed by the grand commandery officers and Governor Bricker. The parade ended with a massing of the colors and the national anthem. The grand ball was held Wednesday evening.
