Trinity Episcopal Church - Coshocton, Ohio

TRINITY EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 740-622-0860
705 Main Street, Coshocton, OH 43812

Trinity Episcopal Church is a beautiful, Episcopal church in Coshocton, Ohio. The first building where they held services was on 3rd. Street. The next place used was upstairs at the Carnegie Library on the corner of 4th and Chestnut St.

The present building was built in 1910. In 1924 a Sunday School addition was added and a rectory. They have held many bazaars and dinners. The church choir has always been a fine feature.

© Sheila HelserOne Christmas eve service the church filled with smoke and the church members about froze because the furnace blew up during the service.

Leone Hines and Ruth Hines Barr, sisters, who died at the ages of 101 and 101 years old were baptized when the church was in the Carnegie Building. Mrs. Beach played the organ for years and a new organ was built at one time.
This small lovely church is very much loved by those who are and have been members. It is presently seeking a permanent pastor.
