Samuel Luther CohagAn died Sept. 1, 1904 in Danville, Ohio.
S.L. Cohagen, proprietor of the Danville house, died at 4:45 o'clock this morning from an attack of typhoid fever in its most virulant form. He had been complaining for some time and three weeks ago was compelled to take his bed. He first suffered from malarial fever which soon developed into typhoid. The fever took a strong hold on him and for the past two weeks he was unconcious. He took a decided turn for the worse last night and it soon became apparent that the end was near. During the early hours of the morning he sank rapidly and at the hour above mentioned expired.
Mr. Cogahen was almost 32 years old and leaves a wife and two children Maud, aged nine and Cora, aged four. He also leaves one brother, Frank Cohagen of Hocking county.
The deceased, with his family moved to Danville about three years ago and soon after his arrival entered into a partnership with R. T. Beum, the blacksmith. He remained with him until this spring when he took charge of the Danville house. By his cheerful disposition and pleasant ways Mr. Cohagen made many friends during his short residence here and his death as cast a gloom among his acquaintances. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to Mrs. Coghagen in her deep bereavement. No arrangementshave yet been made regarding the funeral but the services will probably be held some time Saturday.
