Club Plans Barbecue
Warsaw Twentieth Century Club Warsaw Twentieth Century Club members and their husbands will enjoy a barbecue and covered dish dinner at 6 o'clock Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Thompson. Those attending are to bring covered dish. Meat, rolls, beverage will be furnished. Members who will not attend are requested to notify Mrs. Thompson by Thursday noon.
Friendship Class Notes
Friendship Class of Warsaw Methodist Church met Monday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hinkins. Rev. Harry Lambert gave devotions. Mrs. Roy Bower had charge of the program. Refreshments were served to 10. The next meeting will be held in August at eh home of Mt. and Mrs. Russel Ashcraft.
Royal Homemakers Club
Mrs. Willard Marlatt entertained eight members of the Royal Homemakers Club Tuesday with a noon luncheon. One guest and six children were also present. Roll call was answered with what I received for Mother's Day. The afternoon was spent on new ideas and working on old projects. The next meeting will be a picnic on June 20 at noon at the New Castle Park.
Coming Meetings
New Castle WSCS Wednesday afternoon at eh home of Mrs. Frances Johnson. Plans are completed for a mother, daughter banquet for the New Castle community at 7 p.m. June 8 at the church. This will be a covered dish dinner with rolls and beverage furnished. Those planning to attend are asked to call either Mrs. Karne Locke or Mrs. Helen Rollins by June 5.
Ball Club Program
Walhonding Ball Club has completed plans for the annual chicken barbecue which will be held again this year on Memorial Day at the ball park. Serving will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue till 7:00 p.m. Ball games willl start at noon with the following schedule: 12:00 girls' softball, New Castle - Warsaw; 2:00, baseball, Walhonding - River View; 5:00 Mens' slo pitch, Tiverton - Warsaw.
