BANCROFT SCHOOL

Perhaps several class members will remember this picture taken 57 years ago in front of the old Bancroft School building. The school premises now are a city-owned playground and are a part of the city's park system. This picture of the first grade pupils was taken in 1920. Blanche Elliot was teacher of the first grade at Bancroft School at that time. This photo is the property of Gertrude Creft. 1138 Orchard St. and she is asked to pick it up after it has been published.
